WMES Families,

As many of you know, Williams Memorial Elementary is working closely with the St. George Police Department to improve traffic flow in our car rider line. This effort comes in direct response to concerns and complaints we received about our previous process, and we are committed to finding a solution that is safer and more efficient for everyone.

Change of this kind takes some trial and error, and we recognize that the adjustments so far have caused frustration for some families. We appreciate your patience as we test different approaches and work through this process together. Our goal is a car rider line that keeps students safe and gets families on their way as quickly as possible, and we are confident that with your continued support, we will get there.

Students must wear sneakers. Crocs, Hey Dudes, boots, and sandals are not allowed. Students without sneakers will sit out and receive an alternate assignment. Williams Memorial Elementary will host our annual Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 3rd, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. To ensure a timely bus dismissal on August 5th, it is highly recommended that school and bus registrations are completed before Wednesday, August 5th.

Parents of bus riders should download the My Ride App for bus route information. If you have any questions about school registration, contact Williams Memorial Elementary School at (843) 563-3231. For questions about bus registration, please get in touch with DD4's Transportation Department at (843)-636-5001.

Lastly, all written transportation changes are due in the Front Office by 8:30 A.M. Any bus changes should be emailed by the parent to the school receptionist and the Transportation Director by 11:00 A.M. Bus changes will no longer be approved over the phone (per the Transportation Director).
