For the 2023-2024 school year instead of having a special area for one day and then switching the students will have a special area for five days and then switching.
Bio
Seth Phillips is a 2010 graduate of Southern Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education with Voice as the primary instrument. In Addition, he has a Master of Music Degree in Music Education from Anderson University. In November 2020 he earned his Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
Seth was involved in the Barbershop Harmony Society for 12 years.
He was the liaison for almost two years as the Vice President for Music and Performance for the Spartanburg Chapter and served as an Assistant Director within that Chapter.
He directed the Palmetto Statesmen Chorus and teaches music theory, composition and vocal techniques. He was also the Director and President of the Charleston Barbershop Chorus in Charleston, SC
He maintains a studio of private voice and piano students. Seth sang Tenor and Lead in the Barbershop Quartet “Partners in Rhyme”.

He has served as a substitute teacher in schools throughout Pickens County for 2 years.
Seth also has experience in developing websites for computers and is also involved in recording individual part learning tracks.
His vision is to share the joy of music with others and involve many in the beauty of music.
