I began teaching in 2012 as  a 4th and 5th grade special education teacher in Sumter, South Carolina. In 2015, I began teaching kindergarten thru 5th grade special education here at Williams Memorial Elementary School. I taught special education students of various grade levels over the next four years. In 2018, I left Williams Memorial Elementary School and taught special education at Goose Creek Elementary. In 2019, I returned back to Williams Memorial Elementary as the media specialist. I am truly excited to be back 'home' and to share my love for reading with all students. In 2021, I was named Williams Memorial Teacher of the Year.
I grew up in the small town of Moscow, Pennsylvania and moved to South Carolina in 2012. I have loved every minute of my southern life but miss my family and foods of my northern life. I enjoy reading. traveling, being on the beach and spending time with family and friends.
