I graduated from Columbia College in 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in Williamsburg County and Richland School District 1 before moving to DD4. I earned a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University. This is my 25th year teaching. My first year teaching , I was a K5 teacher. The next 2 years, I taught resource. For the past 22 years I have been teaching first or second grade here at WMES.

I have been married to William Johnston for 19 years. We have two children. Rebekah-17 and Jenna-13. We live in Harleyville.
