First and foremost, I am a proud product of Dorchester 4 schools! I am originally from St. George and attended kindergarten through high school here in these same schools! I am a 2002 graduate of Woodland High School. I attended the University of South Carolina and obtained my undergraduate degree in sociology and education. After graduation, I went back and earned a Master's degree in education. Go Gamecocks!
This is my thirteenth year teaching in our great state! I absolutely love what I do. I have experience teaching kindergarten and first grade. Prior to coming back home, I taught in Greenville County at Taylors Elementary and in Lexington/Richland 5 at Lake Murray Elementary. I currently live in Reevesville with my husband Max and our three girls: Ava (13 years old), Sadie (7 years old), and Conlee (6 years old). We also have a dog, Marlee. I was the District Four teacher of the year for the 2015-2016 school year. I am passionate about what I do and the lives I encounter daily. I know without a doubt that I was born to teach!
